Festivals & Markets
Celebrate, stroll, sample, browse - festivals and markets are the most colourful events of the year.
Highlights in Düsseldorf include the Kirmes (fair) on the banks of the Rhine, a gigantic folk festival with shooting competitions. Further festivals in the city's districts offer more local colour and are not quite so crowded.
