The ESPRIT Arena Düsseldorf (until 2003 the Rheinstadion) is home to Fortuna Düsseldorf. The team plays in Germany's second division.

Prominent supporters of the team include German pop group, Die Toten Hosen.

Getting there: You can be at the ESPRIT arena from the hotel in less than 20 minutes by car. Underground line U78 stops directly at the ground and runs every 5 minutes when there is a game on. Travel time from the main railway station: approx. 15 minutes.

The Düsseldorf GIANTS play in Germany's first division. Their home venue is the Burg Waechter Castello, a modern multifunctional hall.

Getting there: The hall is in the south of Düsseldorf, not far from Benrath Palace. You can be there from the hotel in about 20 minutes by car. If you prefer to travel by public transport, take the S-Bahn to the Düsseldorf Reisholz stop.

The Düsseldorf DEG METRO STARS play in the German Ice Hockey league (DEL). They play at the ISS DOME, another of Düsseldorf’s architectural highlights.

Getting there: The ISS DOME is easily accessible by public transport (S-Bahn and tram). You can be there from the hotel in 15 minutes by car. There are plenty of parking spaces nearby.

HSG ART/HSV Düsseldorf play handball in Germany's first division. Like the GIANTS they play their home games at the Burg Waechter Castello. There is room for up to 3400 spectators there.
